The SCS is pleased to announce the implementation of a Values-Based Dues Model. With this model, you may pay the suggested amount, the minimum amount, or more than the suggested amount. If you choose to donate more, you may designate where those additional funds are allocated within our organization. Autorenewal is available, however, if you select the minimum amount, it will auto-renew at the suggested dues price for the next membership cycle unless you log in and manually adjust the amount. Please see the chart below for the allocation of donations above the suggested dues amount.
Your membership will be processed through the payment option you select at checkout (i.e. - Paypal or your credit card). You can change your subscription and auto-renewal options in the My Account section.

Categories for Contributions above Suggested Amount of SCS Membership Dues
General Operational Fund – funds used for organizational and conference expenses. Such as website expenses, speaker honorariums, etc.
Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) – funds are used for DEI scholarships, speaker expenses, and DEI events.
Student and Rising Professional Scholarships – funds are used for scholarships awarded to students and rising professional conference attendees.
SCS Volunteer Fund – funds are used for SCS volunteers to help defray their conference expenses.
